MIC released the draft Circular which will take effect on July 1st, 2019 replacing Circular 04/2018/TT-BTTTT. The list of products in scope for the type approval and declaration of conformity processes will be reduced. MIC also clarifies that 2.4GHz and 5.GHz devices with EIRP below 60mW are not considered in their definition of Short Range Devices, and therefore certification is not required for these devices.
