Chile SUBTEL - Type Approval Process Revision

The authority in charge of approving telecommunications equipment in Chile, SUBTEL, has revised type approval prceedure.

According to it, to apply for certification the applicant must fill in the certification request in Spanish and indicate information on the manufacturer, detailed description of the device, and used technologies. There also should be attached The new update documents such as:

1) Photos that allow identifying the location of the antennas, connectors in the device

2) Photos of the device itself

3) Description of equipment functionality

4) Block diagram of its components

5) User manual

6) RF Test Report

7) SAR Test Report
