India-WPC to Establish Self-Declaration Process

Ministry of Communications WPC Wing in India issued an Office Memorandum number ETA-WPC/Policy/2018-19, establishing “Equipment Type Approval (ETA) through self-declaration for certain categories of Wireless Equipment in license exempt bands.” A meeting with WPC will take place.

UPDATE: WPC has officially cancelled the former Equipment Type Approval (ETA) process and the new ETA through Self-declaration process has been instated.
