The Ghana communications regulator National Communications Authority 'NCA' has just released a press announcement publicizing the opening of their new accredited laboratory.
The new laboratory are appointed to perform tests against Ghana and International standards covering Radio-IT-Telecommunications-Electronics-Electrical equipment.
The NCA will also change their regulations which will mean that applicants wishing to obtain product certification will need to undergo testing in Ghana.
Previously FCC-EU reports were accepted and no in-country testing was required. However, this regulation will now change.
KTECH is working on an arrangement with the new laboratory to help streamline the testing process, keeping costs and timescales to a minimum.
