Argentina – Safety Certificate Expiration Extension

The Ministry of Productive Development – Ministry of Internal Trade, has published Resolution 119/2020 that states they will postpone Market Surveillance deadlines of Electrical Safety and Energy Efficiency certificates, due to COVID-19. This extension applies to certificates expiring between March 20, 2020 – May 31, 2020.

For certificates expiring within that period, the suspension will be effective until June 15, 2020. We would like to advise that in order to receive the extension, it is mandatory to request and apply for Market Surveillance and once documentation is received, the applicant will be notified if it meets the requirements for the extension.
