After the meeting between the ARPCE and the NFA you may find the conclusions listed below:
- The Authority approves all equipment, wired or wireless, which connects directly or indirectly to a network open to the public (cellular network, Internet...);
- the NFA approves wireless equipment that does not connect to the internet or a cellular network (example: BT, SRD, PMR, TETRA, etc.);
- The NFA has informed that it is not ready for approval yet and that it will take time,
- Concerning Bluetooth, the NFA proposed to the regulatory authority to continue to approve Bluetooth. for information, hundreds of applications for BLUETOOTH are blocked at the ARPCE level following these new provisions,
- The representatives of the Authority took note of this request and will ask the Council of the Authority whether it accepts or not.
- ARPCE representatives informed that the Authority has already issued letters of non-submission for Bluetooth, and if the council does not accept the NFA's proposal, the authority will continue to issue letters of no submission. The ANF did not oppose.
- For WiFi, both parties have agreed that it is the ARPCE that supports it. the Council of the Authority will be informed.
