Algeria – ARPCE Replaces ARPT for Approval Certificates

Algeria ARPT changed name and becomes ARPCE. The "T" in the old name stood for Telecommunication and becomes  "CE" for Electonic Communications which means a broader scope.  The new name comes with change in governance style. the new telecom act gazetted recently gives more administrative power to the General Manager. According to the law, all current ARPT certificates will continue to be valid until the date of expiration.
